Commissions

I enjoy taking commissions from people who are looking at having a high quality miniature to add to their collection. I have painted a variety of miniatures including historicals, fantasy and some steampunk. If you are interested in getting a commission done please email me at megs_minis@hotmail.com with the subject "Miniature Commission". I do not take armies. I will accept single miniatures or a small group/squad.

My rates vary depending on the size of the miniature, the complexity and if any conversion work is requested. All miniatures are painted to show quality and display bases can be requested. I can get either resin display plinths or very nicely handcrafted wooden bases. I only accept US Dollars.

If requesting a commission please be as detailed as possible in what you would like to have done. I have worked with some very good clients that just let me do what I want and they have been happy with the results. If you have a specific idea in mind, however, please be as detailed as possible with color schemes and any "fluff" that may help me feel the character.

Once I have reached an agreement with the customer regarding what they are expecting and the amount they will be charged, that will be the final price. I will not hike the price up halfway through the paint job. I do request that my customers not change specifications in any major way. A minor tweak here and there is fine but no major changes once the mini is painted.

I require payment before I will mail the mini to the customer. If it is a large project and the amount is over $250USD, I will require half the payment in advance. Also, if payment is not received in a timely manner (2 weeks upon receiving notice the mini is done) the customer will forfeit rights to the mini and I will post it on Ebay.

Payment Options
I accept paypal but there is an additional 2.5% transaction fee added.

I will accept money orders from new customers.
I will accept personal checks from returning customers.
I will accept cash payment for any local transactions.

Shipping Options
I use USPS Priority shipping for domestic US orders. For international orders I will quote USPS standard air mail unless another method is requested.

All orders are packed safely using a mixture of newsprint, bubble wrap and packing peanuts.

Insurance can be requested on the shipping but is optional.

I have never had any problems receiving or shipping using the United States Postal Service. Everything has always arrived in a timely manner!

***I reserve the right to turn down any commission for any reason. If I do not feel comfortable doing business with someone or feel that I can not live up to the customer's expectations, I will decline the commission and try to provide names of other painters who may better serve your needs.
